Interlocking Garage Floor Tiles
Our range of interlocking floor mats provide a low-maintenance durable floor surface suitable for garages and workshops. The interlocking system is extremely versatile and easy to install, requiring no surface preparation or adhesives. The floor tiles are flexible and can easily conform to contours or uneven surface levels. They provide a safe anti-slip surface whilst also providing excellent anti-fatigue properties and a layer of insulation from cold concrete floors. The garage floor mats are all resistant to UV light, moisture, acids, chemicals and bacterial growth.
FAQs
What are the different options for garage flooring?
We offer interlocking floor tiles made in rubber or PVC. Each material has it's own benefits. PVC is generally cheaper, easier to clean and comes in a wider selection of colours. Rubber is heavier, softer to walk on and generally has a longer product lifespan.
What type of vehicles can garage flooring cope with?
Any vehicle that can fit in a typical garage! However, for vehicles with a small turning circle such as forklifts or pallet trucks, EasiLok is the recommended choice.
What is the best way to cut floor mats to size?
Rubber mats are best cut with a stanley knife dipped in soapy water or fairy liquid. This helps to overcome the friction between the knife and the rubber. PVC mats are best cut with a handsaw or jigsaw. The swarf can be easily removed with some light sanding.
Does a concrete floor require any preparation before installing garage flooring?
None whatsoever! However any damaged or substantially uneven areas should be screeded over prior to installation.
Does garage flooring come with ramped edges?
All garage floor tiles in our range have matching edging available to order separately. These are intended for use inside door openings and anywhere that transitions between the matting and the sub-floor. You can find these under the 'Accessories' tab of your chosen product.
What level of maintenance does garage flooring require?
Hardly any maintenance is required. However in order to increase the lifespan of the product, regular cleaning with a pH neutral cleaner or warm soapy water is recommended.
