Stormwater Attenuation Crates for Soakaway, Infiltration and Storage Systems
Stormwater crates are designed to store peak flow water discharge and release it slowly over a period of time. The Stormwater Attenuation Crates have a stackable modular design which combine to form a subterranean water infiltration, storage and attenuation system. The entire structure is enclosed in geotextile membrane, which both filters and gradually releases water over a longer period of time. For storage of rainwater for grey water use, such as irrigation or toilet flushing, a non-permeable membrane is placed between the crates and the geotextile layer.
The plastic crates have high void to volume ratio to maximise water storage, yet are robust and designed to withstand all types of vehicular traffic. We supply 20 tonne crates for pedestrian traffic and all the way up to 100 tonne crates for heavy plant traffic.
All caps and connectors are provided free of charge with the crates.

Benefits:
- Lightweight and robust
- High void-to-volume ration
- Easy to install
- Prevents extreme peak flows to mains drainage and water table
- Reduces risk of localised flooding
- Storage of grey water for irrigation, toilet flushing etc.
- Helps projects to comply with SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) requirements
