Crossgrip Roof Walkway Matting
Specifically designed as a rooftop walkway solution, the Crossgrip matting provides a safe non-slip walkway whilst at the same time protecting the roof membrane from damage. The top surface features a diamond-cut pattern for extra traction, and the underside is just as grippy to ensure optimal traction between the matting and the roofing material.
The cross-directional grids are made of solid PVC, and the grids are tightly packed together. This superior density makes it resistant to wind-lift in wind speeds up to 60mph (96kmph). In wind speeds in excess of this, the matting should be secured with bolts and washers. In laboratory conditions Crossgrip was shown to remain stable in wind speeds up to 94mph (150kmph).

Can this product just be rolled out onto the flat roof or does it need afixing?
The matting can be rolled out without fixing, and will resist uplift in wind speeds up to 95mph. Fixing clips are available but almost never purchased, as there is no way to fix them without puncturing the roof membrane
What is the best way to cut this product - a client has asked us to fit this but needed to be cut into three separate lengths and need to include enough time to cut this up. Thanks.
The product can be cut with a Stanley knife, it is best to dip the blade in soapy water or detergent to help overcome the friction. A handsaw can also be used.
